Hermann Husslein

Hermann Ludwig Husslein ( born September 12, 1985 in Hanau ) is a German - Thai canoeist. He is 1.71 m tall and weighs 69 kg.

His father is German, his mother from Thailand; he grew up in Hanau. At the age of eleven he began by canoe racing. In 2002 he became German Junior Champion in Lippstadt. A year earlier he had become a member of the Thai slalom Knauer teams. In 2009, he moved his training base from Hanau to Augsburg. In 2006 he was second in the Asia - slalom competition and 66th in the World Cup. In 2010 he was in Xiasi second at the Asian Championships and fourth at the Asian Games in Guangzhou. In 2011 he was able to defend his runner-up title at the Asian Championships and became the first Thai Olympian in kayaking.

He was trained from 1997 to 2010 by Sven finders from 2010 to 2011 by Pierrick Gosselin and since 2011 by Janos Peterlin.

Hermann Ludwig Husslein belongs to the Ski & Canoe Company Hanau in 1925 and competed at the 2012 Olympic Games for Thailand; He retired after the heats and was ranked 19 out of 22 participants.
