Stadium

Was built the three grandstands full stadium in the 1950s. When the then TuS Schloß Neuhaus in 1982, rising to become Westphalia champion in the 2nd Bundesliga, the grandstand was expanded since it was not more thoroughly renovated, which is one reason that the sports facility is generally classified as dilapidated. After the rise of the SC Paderborn 07 in the second Bundesliga in 2005 the stadium received a year later the first floodlights. Only due to this fact gave the DFB operators with a special permit for the discharge of second and Regional games. One of the conditions associated with this grant was a move to a second division capable Stadium in the near future.

This should already be done for the second half of the season 2005/ 06 with the construction of that paragon arena, but these works rested five months after construction began again after the Higher Administrative Court of North Rhine -Westphalia in Münster has the building permit withdrawn as a result of residents protests. Then got the HLS to the beginning of the season 2006/ 07 an additional grandstand in steel tube design. Since November 2007, was built on the basis of a new building permit further. On 30 June 2008, the new paragon arena has been handed over to the SCP, wearing there since the 2008/ 09 season, its home games. After the SC Paderborn 07 has moved into the paragon arena, are the additional grandstand and floodlights, which was incorporated into the new arena was built immediately back again to their masts. The masts are to be found later for a possibly smaller sized new floodlights reuse.

Since the summer of 2008, the stadium is home to the American football clubs in the Paderborn Dolphins.
