Hermann Neuling

Hermann Newcomer ( * 1897, † 1967) was a German horn player and composer.

Freshman was long considered lower horn at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin worked and taught there at the Municipal Conservatory.

Major, composed by him are pieces such as the Bagatelle for deep horn and piano and Etudes for Horn deep, that have appeared in two books of 30 etudes. In addition to the horn concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Richard Strauss, the Bagatelle is considered as a compulsory piece for orchestral auditions.
