The Hermes Abrasives GmbH & Co. KG is a European abrasives manufacturer with headquarters in Hamburg- Lurup. Other works are in Uetersen and Schenefeld. The company in 1927 by Carl Christian Baerents Christiansen was founded under the name "North German Abrasive Industry Co., Ltd. " in Flensburg. Hermes products are including Hermesit, webrax and Sapphire Blue.
