Hermine Riss

The Viennese Hermione plan is an Austrian Righteous Among the Nations.

Hermione crack hidden 1942-1945 within the meaning of the "Nuremberg Laws " threatened as a Jew from deportation Regine Heinrich in her apartment in Vienna Leopoldstadt. They also temporarily housed two Jewish victims of persecution, Stefanie Zach and Otto Breichenstein who survived the Nazi period as "U- boats". Hermione plan risked their lives by these means, as the property manager of "U- boats " were sent to the control of the Gestapo in concentration camps.

Yad Vashem, the National Holocaust Memorial of Israel, honoring savior and helper of Jews as " Righteous Among the Nations ". Their names are inscribed on the honor wall in the Garden of the Righteous at Yad Vashem.

She was posthumously awarded the title " Righteous Among the Nations " on December 6, 2005. For the award of Hermione crack the DOeW has been used together with the grandson of the rescued Regine Heinrich.
