Hermonville

Hermonville is a commune with 1403 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Marne, in the Champagne -Ardenne region. It belongs to the district Reims and Canton Fismes.

Geography

Hermonville is located approximately 12 kilometers north- west of Reims on the Route Touristique du Champagne in the Massif de Saint -Thierry. Neighboring municipalities are:

  • Cauroy -lès- Hermonville in the north,
  • Loivre in the Northeast,
  • Villers- Franqueux in the east,
  • Pouillon in the southeast,
  • Chenay and Trigny in the south,
  • Pévy in the southwest and
  • Bouvancourt in the West.

The municipal area is mainly drained by the stream Ruisseau de Rabassa to the northeast, where it flows into the neighboring community Loivre into the same river Loivre that the Canal de l' Aisne à la Marne accompanied here to the north.
