Hero of the People's Republic of Bulgaria

The honorary title of Hero of the People's Republic of Bulgaria was created by decree No. 960 on June 15, 1948 the Presidium of the National Assembly and was the award of Bulgarian or foreign nationals for heroic deeds or services to the defense of the country and their allied nations provided.

Appearance

The award is a golden five-pointed star with a diameter of 34 mm. In lapel he wears the three-line inscription ГЕРОЙ НА НР БЪЛГАРИЯ ( Hero of the People's Republic of Bulgaria).
