Herrmann Zschoche
Herrmann Zschoche ( born November 25, 1934 in Dresden ) is a German screenwriter and film director. He directed numerous DEFA feature films primarily for children and young director and created with seven freckles a classic of youth DEFA film. After 1990 he was primarily involved in television series and rows and retired in 1997 largely from the film business. Since then he has stepped down as non-fiction author and editor in appearance.
Life
Zschoche took an early interest for film work and was during his school years a member of a cine-film circle. He passed his Abitur and started the beginning of the 1950s as an assistant and cameraman for the news program of the GDR Current camera. During his apprenticeship he worked with Ernst Hirsch films over the Pillnitz Palace and Zwinger Palace.
From 1954 to 1959 Zschoche studied directing at the Academy of Film and Television in Potsdam and then came as an assistant director for DEFA Studio for Feature Films. For Frank Beyer, he worked at Royal Children as an assistant director, while in what he had with Gerhard Klingenberg if ...? worked. From 1961 Zschoche worked as a director at the DEFA Studio for Feature Films and gave to the children's film The Tale Castle made his directorial debut in a feature film. After the turn Zschoche took over directing duties in television series such as crime scene before he ceased his work as a director with the series sanatorium Rosenau 1997. " Such television contracts, which included [ also ] Three ladies from the grill or Kommissar Rex, he mourns not: they were clean craft work, but nothing that really challenged him ," says Ralf Schenk 2009.
Since then Zschoche devoted to writing. Among other things, he published travelogues and memoirs by various artists, including several works of Caspar David Friedrich.
Herrmann Zschoche was married to his first marriage to actress Jutta Hoffmann. In 2002 he published with seven freckles and other memories his autobiography. He lives in Brandenburg Storkow.
