Herzog-Albrecht-Gedächtniskirche

The Herzog- Albrecht Memorial Church was the church of the Evangelical- Uniate parish in the district Maraunenhof the East Prussian city of Königsberg, she stood at King Ottokar Square and also Maraunenhofer church was called.

After 1908, one interested in the development of the district Terrain Company had approved a construction cost subsidy was made after a lengthy planning phase on 19 May 1911, the foundation stone was laid. The church was built after a design of the architects firm Mattar & Scheler was inaugurated on 12 January 1913 and in 1933 renamed the 450th anniversary of Luther in " Herzog- Albrecht Memorial Church ". The building suffered considerable damage in World War II and was left to decay after 1945 without new use. The decayed into ruins church was demolished in 1972.
