Hespenbusch

Hespenbusch is a farm which belongs to the municipality Großenkneten in the Geest in Lower Saxony. Today it is run as a district Hespenbusch - palace of the community Großenkneten. Hespenbusch was formerly the site for small experimental rockets in the working society DAFRA, there are attempts in this regard, however, carried out since 1957 in Cuxhaven.

To Hespenbusch a burial ground from the Early Bronze Age belongs ( to 1200-700 BC) to the Iron Age (c. 700-0 BC). The 52 to 54 different sized grave hills are located on the street "Am burial ground ". You can still be seen well today. Some have a diameter of 10 m.
