Het Kuipje (English: The small tub ) is the home stadium opened in 1933 by the Belgian football club KVC Westerlo. The municipality of Westerlo lies in the province of Antwerp in the Flemish Region. Currently, it offers 7,982 spectators and has since the 2008/ 09 season as one of the few stadiums in Belgium ( Cristal Arena and Maurice Dufrasne Stadium ) through a soil heating. The individual, covered spectator stands are numbered. The stands 1 and 3 along the square hold 1,524 and 2,622 spectators. The one stand behind number 4 has 1,429 seats. The remaining rank 2 dominates the other three stands in height and offers 2,407 square fans. The name of the stadium is a reminder of the Rotterdam Feyenoord Stadium; the most only briefly De Kuip (English: The trough) is called. To the stadium also four football fields are created next to parking.
