Het Laatste Nieuws is a Belgian daily newspaper published in Dutch.

It is issued by De Persgroep. The newspaper was founded in 1888 on 7 June in Brussels by liberals. During the Second World War, the newspaper appeared under German censorship. After 1995, the sensation- oriented nature of this liberal newspaper to be designated decreased. It covers both regional as well as national and international issues in the newspaper.

In the last 10 years the number of buyers increased from 260 000 to 290 000, making it the most -selling daily newspaper in Belgium. According to the Centrum voor informatie over de media read more than a million people, the newspaper daily.
