Hetauda

Development region

Hetauda is a town and administrative center in the district of Makwanpur in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal, about 132 road miles (40 km distance) southwest of Kathmandu. From Hetauda led the first road linking Kathmandu with the outside world via the Tribhuvan Rajmarg. In addition, the city lies on the main east -west state highway, the Mahendra Rajmarg.

The nearest airport is at Simara, about 30 km south of the city.
