Hethel

Hethel is a small village in England, near Wymondham, about 16 kilometers south of Norwich, Norfolk. The village has 446 inhabitants ( 2001).

Hethel is the site of the former RAF Hethel airbase on which today uses the Lotus factory site and the test track, the parts of the former airstrip, located.

In Hethel is the oldest with more than 700 years hawthorn tree in East Anglia. The " Hethel Old Thorn " called tree grows in the churchyard of the village.
