Heute (newspaper)

Today was a Swiss commuter newspaper of the Ringier Publishing House. She appeared on 15 May 2006 to 30 May 2008. It was distributed from Monday to Friday from about 15.00 clock. Her second product is the view in the evening.

General

Published today in Zurich, Bern and Basel, and was coordinated in part to the different places of publication. The newspapers were on in green boxes at railway stations, in the inner cities as well as in most McDonald's restaurants and Migrol gas stations. Blank newspaper boxes were rarely found after a report by the World Week. At central locations such as Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse, the sheet was also distributed in the peak time by hand.

Today was printed in a run of over 200,000 copies. The first editor in chief was Bernhard Weissberg, who as editor in chief moved to look in November 2007. By 30 April 2008, the editorial office of chief editor ai was Daniel Steep out. From 1 May 2008 Peter Röthlisberger was editor in chief, and his deputy was Markus Helbling; both will hold these items also when you look in the evening.

On 5 March 2008, it was announced that the newspaper should be set. Since the view was redesigned in early 2008, was replaced today by June 2, 2008 by the new look of the evening.

The content

Today contained an average of 2 pages ads per 10 pages editorial content. The messages were processed in teletext format and enriched with a lot of pictures. The sheet was colored broken blue (News Sites: People, Switzerland, international news, business, digital, regions ZH / BE / BS, pictures of the day), green ( Sports ), yellow ( background, lifestyle, knowledge) and red ( community outings, Singles, Nightlife ). The columnists were also encouraged to keep short. The rearmost side of the sheet was, as in free newspapers usual program: Both the fashion section or a mini column should be aimed at young, urban readers.
