Hibito–Cholon languages

Hibito - Cholon is the name of an indigenous South American language family, which consists only of the two individual languages Hibito and Cholon. These both were spoken in Peru and are now extinct.

The Hibito (also: Jibito ) was spread on the river Bobonaje. The Cholon, which was spoken in the valley of the Río Huallaga died out only in 2000, when the speakers were completely gone over to the local variety of Quechua.
