Hicham Zerouali

Hicham Zerouali ( born January 17, 1977; † 5 December 2004 Rabat ) was a Moroccan football player.

Life

Zerouali began in his home country with the football game. In October 1999, the striker moved for a transfer fee of 450,000 pounds sterling of FUS Rabat to the Scottish first division club FC Aberdeen. With him he stood in 2000 and reached the Scottish Cup final in 2001/ 02 # 3 on the Scottish Premier League. As the first player he was allowed to run up to the seat number 0, after he had given the nickname Zero his fans.

Zerouali he played 17 international matches ( three goals) for the Moroccan national football team, after he had been standing in the junior national team and the Olympic team in Morocco. In 2002 he took part in Mali with the national team at the African Nations Cup.

In July 2002 Zerouali went to Saudi Arabian first division club Al -Nasr. After a year he returned to his homeland and played until his death in the first division club FAR Rabat. After numerous injuries, he was able again to build on its former strength, and celebrated a month before his death when he won the Moroccan Cup the biggest success of his career.

Zerouali was born on December 5, 2004 in a traffic accident when he lost control of his car and drove into a tree.
