Hideki Matsutake

Hideki Matsutake (Japanese松 武 秀 树, Hideki Matsutake, born August 12, 1951) founded the early 80s, the synth project " Logic System ".

Biography

" Logic System " is a project of Hideki Matsutake and various employees. Matsutake began as an assistant to Isao Tomita in the 70's and is known as the sequencer programmer and synth module machine operator for YMO known. He was not a member of YMO, but worked on the albums of their earlier and middle period and traveled with his huge module synthesizers. He also carried out the sequencing work for numerous Technopop albums of other artists, especially at the beginning of the 1980s. In December 2011, the group released the song The residance Unit in a modern guise new - as a reminiscence of Logic System

He also writes for the column " Switched on Synthesizer " in the " Sound & Recording Magazine ." Logic system occurred in 1996 at a meeting organized by Isao Tomita major concert event. Matsutake is also a guest performer on the published in the U.S. Towa Tei albums. There are also commercial MIDI files from the original YMO songs from 2000, in which he certainly was involved 20 years ago.

In the period 1982-2003 there were some published in Japan albums. In Europe in 1981 and 1982 three albums with the titles Logic, Venus and Orient Express were published over the years.
