Hiempsal I.

Hiempsal was 118-117 BC, king of Numidia Massylier.

After the death of King Micipsa of Numidia, the empire was divided by the Romans into three kingdoms. In addition to the brothers Adherbal and Hiempsal also her adoptive brother and cousin Jugurtha was a part of kingdom. However, soon broke out power struggles in which Hiempsal was murdered 117 BC.
