Hieracosphinx

The Hieracosphinx is an ancient Egyptian, mythical animal in the form of a cross -like hybrid creature. In Egypt Hieracosphinx sculptures were found and it also appeared in European heraldry on. It has the body of a lion, but replaces the gripping typical eagle head by a falcon.
