The nuclear power plant Higashidori (Japanese东 通 原子 力 発 电 所, Higashidori genshiryoku hatsudensho ) is a nuclear power plant in Japan. It is located on the eastern side of the peninsula in the municipality Shimokita Higashidori in Aomori Prefecture. The power plant is since 2005 on the net. The plant is 3.58 km2 in size and owned by the company Tōhoku Denryoku.

In 2005, a BWR reactor ( BWR ) went into operation. Tohoku planning another type reactor ABWR with 1,385 MW of gross capacity. The current reactor has arisen following the experience of Onagawa -3. Was built the reactor from Toshiba.
