High Park

The High Park is the largest park in the city of Toronto (Ontario) in Canada. Its area is 161 acres (1.61 km ²). Here, the High Park is a mixed recreational and natural park, with sporting facilities, cultural facilities, educational facilities, gardens, playgrounds and a zoo. One third of the land are obtained in a natural state.

The park is located in the west of the city center and north of the Humber Bay. It extends south of Bloor Street West to the Queensway north of Lake Ontario. In addition, it is bounded to the west by Ellis Park Road and Grenadier Pond and on the east by Parkside Drive.

The park was built in 1876 from the estate of John George Howard.
