High-Tech Gründerfonds

The High-Tech Startup Fund invests venture capital in technology companies that convert promising research results in business success. Investors in this public -private partnership are the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, the KfW Banking Group and the 18 business enterprises ALTANA, BASF, B. Braun, Robert Bosch, CEWE Foundation, Daimler, German Post DHL, German Telekom, Evonik, Lanxess, media more venture, Metro Group, Qiagen, RWE Innogy, Siemens, Tengelmann, Carl Zeiss and SAP. The High-Tech Startup Fund has a total fund volume of around EUR 573.5 million ( EUR 272 million Fund I and EUR 301.5 million Fund II), although EUR 500 million ( ie 87%) by the federal government and be provided by KfW available, and approximately 13 % of the business enterprise.

The portfolio of the Fund are currently 254 technology companies.
