High1 (ice hockey)
High1 is a South Korean ice hockey club from Chuncheon, which plays in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2005.
History
The Ice Hockey Club was founded in 2005 as a team of the Asia League Ice Hockey from the Kangwon Land Corporation, which is why the team also took part as Kangwon Land on the operation of the game alih in their first two seasons. Prior to the 2007/ 08 season was renamed the current name High1. In addition to Anyang Halla is High1 the only team from South Korea, which participates in the alih. Halla lost against the team from Chuncheon in the 2006/07 season in the playoff quarterfinals. In its founding season High1 posted by reaching the play-off semi-finals, where they lost the Seibu Prince Rabbits, the biggest success of the club history.
