Highland (Band)

Highland is a German Dance-/Hip-Hop-Band. In their music they are using Italian and sometimes Latin phrases, combined with hip-hop and English rap. This combination makes the music unique. The band consists of vocalist Nicole Saviour, which is also phonetically its name to the band, the rapper Lady Scar and the rappers Dean Burke. Mike Michaels, Mark "MM " Dollar and Mark tobacco, which also produce other artists and bands such as Music Instructor, The Boyz and Ayman wrote the Highland songs along with Hardy Krech, Mark Nissen and Toni Berardi. Produced Highland Hardy Krech and Mark Nissen ( Elephant Music), Coproduced of Triple M in collaboration with Andreas Pohle. Dean Burke as Elephant Music before Highland worked with Triple M (as part of the group Music Instructor and Lunatics ). Highland existed as a band but only until 2002. The first Single Highland Bella Stella, was published with great success in 1999. In 2000, they released the eponymous album with three more singles, Se Tu Vuoi, Solo Tu and Veni Vidi Vici. All these songs are constructed according to the same scheme: Italian singing mixed with rap and electronic music.

In 2001 he released the single Highland Magic Fortuna, which is based on O Fortuna, a part of the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Unlike the album Bella Stella Nicole Saviour sang the song alone and only in Latin. Nicole Saviour was then a member of the band Saviour. The last appearance of this formation in 2006, the year of the publication of the successful single fault. 2008 comeback of Highland followed with the album Dimmi Perché. The band is now no longer belong only Saviour and Nicole Dean Burke, Lady Scar. Composed and Produced the album was by Hardy Krech and Mark Nissen. As lyricists were involved as in the earlier albums Dean Burke and Antonio Berardi.
