Hilary Erhard Duff ( born September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas ) is an American singer, actress, author and businesswoman. Her breakthrough owes the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire. She lives in Beverly Hills.

Hilary Erhard Duff is the daughter of the manager Susan Duff born Cobb, who is also her manager, and whose ex-husband is Robert ( "Bob" ) Erhard Duff, partner in a chain of convenience stores.
