Hilda Strike

Hilda Strike, also Hilda H. Strike, after marriage Hilda Sisson ( born September 1, 1910 in Montreal, † March 9, 1989 in Ottawa ) was a Canadian athlete.

Strike participated in Los Angeles at the Summer Olympics in 1932. She won the 100 -meter run, the silver medal behind the Polish Stanisław Walasiewicz ( gold ) and before the US-American Wilhelmina von Bremen ( bronze). In the 4 x 100 meters relay she took with the Canadian team also the silver medal, along with their team mates Mildred Fizzell, Lillian Palmer and Mary Frizzell.

Soon after her marriage to Fred Sisson 1935, she retired from the sport.
