Hilderaldo Bellini

Hideraldo Luiz Bellini ( born June 7, 1930 in Itapira, São Paulo, † March 19, 2014 in São Paulo) was a Brazilian football player. In the 1950s, he had great success with the CR Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro. In the 1960s he played with FC São Paulo. The highlight of his career was, at the World Championships in Sweden when he was allowed to take the then World Cup trophy, the Coupe Jules Rimet, in receiving in 1958 as captain of the Brazilian national team - and this stylistic influence rose with both hands above his head.

Career

Hideraldo Luiz Bellini graduated in 1947 in the recently founded Sociedade Esportiva in his hometown Itapira - located about 180 km east of the state capital São Paulo on the border with Minas Gerais - in which took part in that year at Hinterland championship, the Campeonato do Interiordes State.
