Hilmar Weilandt

Hilmar Weiland ( born September 29, 1966 in Stralsund ) is a former German football player.

Weiland came in 1980 in the youth department of FC Hansa Rostock and completed 25 games for youth national teams of the German Democratic Republic. For the 1986/87 season the defensive player in the squad advanced to the Rostock - Oberliga Absteigers and debuted on August 20, 1986 in the league as the second-highest division of the GDR. With one goal in 20 games he had share in the re-emergence of the Hanseatic League in the league. In fdgb Cup Weiland came with Hansa to the final, in the Hansa 1 FC Locomotive Leipzig defeated 4-1 Weiland was replaced in the 64th minute. In the following season 1987/88 Weiland finished with Rostock ninth.

With the fourth place 1988/89 reached Rostock to qualified first time in two decades back for the UEFA Cup, left there in 1989/90 but in the first round against the Czech representatives Banik Ostrava, where Weiland was used in both games.
