Hilton A. Green

Hilton A. Green ( born March 3, 1929 in Los Angeles, California, † October 2, 2013 in Pasadena, California ) was an American film producer who realized several film productions for film and television in the 1980s and 1990s, including movies as Psycho II, The Sixteen adult, Encino or Zeus & Roxanne - A animal friendship.

Life and work

Hilton A. Green, born 1929 in Los Angeles in the State of California, began his film career in 1955 as Assistant Director William Wyler's film drama on a day like any other. Green has held this position until the year 1967. During this time he organized numerous episodes of popular TV series, presented among other department 'M' or Alfred Hitchcock. The director Alfred Hitchcock, he was also in the films Psycho Marnie 1960 and 1964 as Assistant Director to the side.

Then arose in his capacity as a producer in the 1980s, the sequels with the actor Anthony Perkins in the role of Norman Bates in Psycho II (1983 ), and Psycho III (1986). Hilton A. Green was the son of film director Alfred E. Green and actress Vivian Reed. His brothers were the production manager Marshall Green, and film producer Douglas Green.

On October 2, 2013 Green died at the age of 84 years in Pasadena.
