Himilkon was a Carthaginian military commander.

Life

About Himilkon is reported that he 406/405 BC tried to gain control of Sicily. After the outbreak of an epidemic but he was forced to close a comparison with Dionysius I of Syracuse. 396/397 BC, he landed again in Sicily, and failed again - again by a plague that ravaged his army - against Syracuse. His army was destroyed by Dionysius.
