Himno Nacional Mexicano

Himno Nacional Mexicano is the officially confirmed Mexican national anthem since 1943, but it was previously officially used since 1854. The text, which reported on the Mexican victory and calls for the defense of the country, was written by poet Francisco González Bocanegra in 1853 while he was imprisoned by his fiancee in a room. The music was created in 1854 by the composer Jaime Nunó to the text of Bocanegra. The final national anthem is the result of a competition of 12 November 1853 more than 15 participants, who had been invited by the President of General Mariano Arista. The unofficially by the text of the first line as Mexicanos al grito de guerra (Eng. " Mexicans to the clamor of war" ) known song was officially launched on September 16, 1854 at the celebrations of Mexican independence as a new national anthem. The text has five stanzas each with two groups of four lines and a chorus to four lines, of which at official occasions but usually only the first two are sung.
