Hinkley is a place in California.

The place is located in the Mojave Desert in San Bernardino County, 150 km northeast of Los Angeles.

Hinkley was known, because there, the cooling fluid of a compressor station of the Pacific Gas and Electric contaminated groundwater. The disaster was discussed in the film Erin Brockovich.
