The Hino Station (Japanese日 野 駅, Hino -eki ) is located in the city of Hino in the prefecture of Tokyo.

Design and tracks

The JR station has two tracks that are used by an island platform from. It is built as a rider station in the most common form railway station, the transit station.

History

The JR station was opened on 23 January 1890. 1937, the station was moved to 300 meters due to the planned expansion of its Chuo Main Line; but the tracks of the former railway station have been preserved and are now testing for the Research Institute of Railway Technology (鉄 道 総 合 技术 研究所, Sogo Gijutsu tetsudō KENKYUSHO jap ) used.
