Hiroyuki Tomita

Hiroyuki Tomita (Japanese冨 田 洋 之, Hiroyuki Tomita, born November 21, 1980 in Osaka ) is a Japanese gymnast.

Tomita took at the 2004 Olympics in Athens with his team the gold medal and silver on uneven bars.

His greatest achievement was the victory in the all around at the 2005 World Cup. Moreover, he secured a year later at the World Championships in Aarhus, the silver medals in the all around and on bars and the bronze medal with his team.

In the Gymnastics World Championships 2007 in Stuttgart, he won the silver medal with his team and was additionally awarded as " the most elegant gymnast ". He ended his career in the fall of 2008.
