The Hispar Muztagh is a mountain in the Karakoram in Pakistan's autonomous region of Gilgit- Baltistan, the former Northern Areas. It is part of Karakoram main chain, which is referred to as Muztagh. The Hispar Muztagh is Baltoro Muztagh after the second highest part of the mountains of the Karakoram. It contains numerous high "seven thousand ." Location

The Hispar Muztagh lies in the northwestern part of the Karakorum. It runs from west-north- west to east-southeast from the Hunza Valley to the firn basin of Biafogletschers (Snow Lake ) and the Khurdopin glacier and has an area of ​​about 70 kilometers. In the south it borders the Hispar Glacier and the valley of the Hispar River. In the north, the mountain range is limited by the Shimshal Valley. Shimshal and Hispartal run at a distance of about 35 kilometers, approximately parallel and drain west to the Hunza Valley. The importance of Hispar Muztagh watershed is so low.

To the west of the Hunza valley, which is accessed through the Karakoram Highway, lies the Batura Muztagh. East of Khurdophin Pass, the transition between Snow Lake and Khurdopin Glacier, lies the Panmah Muztagh. These three mountain ranges make up the western and central part of the Karakorum main ridge. In the south and north Hispar Muztagh adjacent to the chains of the little Karakorum: South of the western Hispar valley lie the Rakaposhi - Haramosh Mountains, to the east in the south of Hispar Glacier follow the Spantik - Sosbun Mountains. North of the Shimshal valley lie the Ghujerab Mountains as northern chain of the Karakorum.
