Histiocytosis
The histiocytosis are a heterogeneous group of tumor-like lesions, which are characterized by the proliferation of histiocytic cells. One form is the Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Other less common forms are the Rosai - Dorfman disease, the Erdheim Chester disease and juvenile xanthogranuloma.
Malignant histiocytosis in the dog plays a role.
