Historical Association

The Historical Association is a non-profit historical society in the UK, which was founded in 1906 and performs particularly the interests of history teachers and advocates for the public perception of historical science in the UK.

They were founded as a complement to the Royal Historical Society for teaching in schools, especially for the then relatively new curriculum subject of history. Similar companies for other school subjects such as Mathematics ( Mathematical Association, 1870) and classics ( Classics Association) have been previously established.
