Historische Sprachforschung

The Historical linguistics (HS ) is a German magazine for historical Indo-European linguistics. Publisher is next to the other Indo-Europeanist and linguist Martin cumin. The magazine is in German- speaking countries and beyond and internationally one of the oldest still published regularly spoke scientific journals and the oldest Indo-European studies in the subject.

The magazine was founded in 1852 by the Indo-Europeanists Adalbert Kuhn Journal of comparative linguistic research, it was referred to in contemporary shortening as Kuhn's magazine (KZ). Today's title was introduced to the output 101 (1988). The journal is published by the publisher Cambridge University Press in Göttingen.
