History

The Hockey Club Vilki Riga was founded on 12 September 2000 and took early as the following season at the Latvian Cup finals. The home matches of the club were held in the Rigas pils Sporta, the nearly 1,000 spectators. Mid-2000s, acquired NHL players Sandis Ozoliòš the club and supported this financially.

Before the season 2006 /07 the club got no license and first played in the Amateur Championship. 2008, the club moved to Ozolnieki and plays its home games since the 2008 Ozo Ledus hall opened out.
