HK Prizma Riga

The HK Prizma Riga is a Latvian ice hockey club, which was founded in 1998 and took part between 2001 and 2003 in addition to the Latvian Hockey League at the East European Hockey League.

History

The HK Prizma Riga was founded in 1998 and took first as a gaming community with Latvijas Berzs at the Latvian Ice Hockey Championship in part. Between 2001 and 2003 the club played in addition to Division B of the East European Hockey League. In 2002, the club moved back to the second game Latvian checkout and reached there in third place.

In the season 2003/ 04 the club entered as a game community with the Sports School of Helmut Balderis under the name BHS Prizma Riga 86 again in the Latvian championship and reached the seventh place. Then they moved the team back again and played in the second division, while the U18 juniors of the club at the Latvian U18 Championship took part.

In the season 2008/09, a gaming community with Hanza Riga came under the name HS Riga / Prizma - Hanza and was ranked sixth in the regular season.

Today, the association operates a sports school, can be purchased at the diplomas for ice hockey and figure skating.
