HMS Bellona
Seven ships of the Royal Navy have been christened HMS Bellona Bellona respectively.
- The first Bellona in 1747 captured the French privateer Bellone as, and converted into a 30 - gun ship sixth rank, she was sold in 1749.
- The second HMS Bellona was a 74 -gun third-rate ship, the 1760-1814 was in service. She was lead ship of the Bellona class.
- The third HMS Bellona was a 3- gun ship, which was passed in 1794 batch and 1805 scrapped.
- The fourth Bellona was the French 28- gun ship Bellone, which was captured in 1806, renamed in 1809 in Blanche and 1814 scrapped.
- The fifth HMS Bellona was a cruiser, which was launched in 1890 and was put into service in August 1894. It served until 1906 in the Channel Squadron.
- The sixth HMS Bellona was a cruiser that did from 1909 to 1921 service.
- The seventh HMS Bellona was a light cruiser, which was launched in 1942, was from 1948 to 1956 loaned to the Royal New Zealand Navy and scrapped in 1959.
