HMS Endurance is the name of two ships of the Royal Navy. Both ships have their name after the Endurance, the ship of Ernest Henry Shackleton on his Imperial Trans - Antarctic Expedition in 1914.

  • The first HMS Endurance was bought in 1967, then served until 1991 as an Antarctic patrol ship until they had to be scrapped due to severe damage after a collision with an iceberg.
  • The second HMS Endurance, the current Antarctic patrol ship, was purchased in 1992 and has since been in the service of the Royal Navy.
