HMS Naiad
Four ships of the British Royal Navy have been named HMS Naiad after a figure in Greek mythology, the Naiad.
- HMS Naiad (1797 ), a frigate with 38 cannons, which was allowed to 1797.
- HMS Naiad (1890 ), a protected cruiser of the Apollo class, was launched in 1890 and was sold in 1922.
- HMS Naiad (93 ) was a light cruiser of the Dido - class, launched in 1939 and was sunk on 11 March 1942.
- HMS Naiad ( F39 ) was a Leander - class frigate, which was launched in 1963. She was decommissioned in 1987 and 1990, sunk as a target ship.
