HMS Scotsman (P243)

The HMS Scotsman ( P243 ) was a submarine of the Royal Navy in World War II.

History

The Scotsman (English: Scot ) was a boat of the third contract section of the successful S-Class. This building lot is known as Seraph class. She was laid on April 15, 1943 Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in the West of Scotland Greenock on Kiel, expired on August 18, 1944 from the pile and was put into service by the Royal Navy on December 9, 1944.

The HMS Scotsman was scrapped in November 1964 in Troon.
