The HMS Sea Devil ( P244 ) was a submarine of the Royal Navy in World War II and after.

History

The Sea Devil (English: monkfish ) was a boat of the third contract section of the successful S-Class. This building lot is known as Seraph class. She was laid on May 5, 1943 Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in the West of Scotland Greenock on Kiel, was launched on January 30, 1945 from the pile and was put into service by the Royal Navy on 12 May 1945.

The submarine remained after the war in active use by the Royal Navy.

The HMS Sea Devil was decommissioned on 4 June 1962 sold on December 15, 1962 on scrapping and then canceled in Newhaven.

The HMS Devil was the last used by the Royal Navy submarine S-Class. The Portuguese and Israeli Navy continued after an even boats of the class until the early 1970s.
