HMS Shark

HMS Shark (English: Shark) is the name of several British warships:

  • HMS Shark (1894 ) was a destroyer of the Rocket class. The ship was launched in 1894 by the stack, and in 1911 was canceled.
  • HMS Shark (1912 ) was a destroyer of Acasta class. The ship was launched in 1912 from the stack and sank on 31 May 1916 in the Battle of Jutland.
  • HMS Shark (1918 ) was a destroyer of the S-Class. The ship was launched in 1918 and was placed out of service in 1931.
  • HMS Shark ( N54 ) was the lead ship of the Shark - class. The submarine was launched in 1934 and sank on July 6, 1940.
  • HMS Shark ( G03 ) was a destroyer of the S-Class. The ship ran aground in 1943 off the stack, in 1944 transferred to Norway and renamed Svenner. The Svenner was sunk in the Allied landings in Normandy on 6 June 1944 by German torpedo boats.
