HMS St Albans (1764)

HMS St Albans was a 64-gun ship of the line armed with the third rank of the Royal Navy and lead ship of St Albans class. The launch took place at Perry in Blackwall on 12 September in 1764.

It was used in 1777 in the American Revolutionary War and was part of the fleet, the St. Lucia conquered and won victories at the Battle of St. Kitts and Battle of Les Saintes.

From 1803 she served as a floating gun battery, and was finally scrapped in 1814.
