HMS starlet ( N22 ) was a submarine of the Royal Navy in World War II.

The starlet (→ starlet ) was a boat of the second module of the successful S-Class. This building lot is known as Shark class. She was laid on the Chatham Naval Shipyard on 14 July 1936 on Kiel, ran on 22 September 1937 by the stack and was put into service by the Royal Navy on 6 April 1938.

After the outbreak of World War II on 1 September 1939, the submarine was used in the North Sea.

On April 14, 1940 ( under the command of Lt.
