HMS Sussex

HMS Sussex and Sussex is the name of several ships of the Royal Navy:

• The first Sussex was a ship 4th class, which launched in 1652 and exploded a year later by an accident.
• The second Sussex was a three-master, which was launched in 1693 and sank near Gibraltar in the following year.
• The third HMS Sussex was a heavy cruiser of the County class, which was launched in 1928 and scrapped in 1950.
